BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) Users in the world has reached millions. No wonder if Research In Motion (RIM), stirring it into a 'social weapon'. This was realized with the opening BBM as Social Platform. That is, developers can now utilize BBM functionality in their applications.
With the opening BBM as Social Platform has announced RIM's in BlackBerry Developer Conference 10 (DevCon10) held the Marriot Marquis, San Francisco, 27-30 September 2010.
BBM have more than 28 million active users, per month increased by about 1.5 million new users. It is assumed, there are 2,000 new users per hour. What does it mean for users? RIM to give some examples of applications that utilize fuel Social Platform.
This capability also allows updates BBM status of the application. For example, when listening to a song, the title track will automatically appear in the status in BBM.
